Sampling & Quality Coordination

Sampling and Quality Coordination for Leather Goods

Samples turn a specification into a physical product. Sampling is where most fit, finish, and construction questions are answered, and quality coordination keeps production consistent with what was approved. Veltan Supply coordinates these stages with manufacturing partners in Pakistan, and we are clear about what we check and what the partner checks.

How sampling works

A sample round starts from an approved specification. The partner produces the sample, which is reviewed against the specification. Changes are written down, and a revised sample is made if needed. Most projects agree on a fixed number of rounds before sampling begins.

Quality coordination

Quality coordination means agreeing what will be checked, when, and by whom. Typical checks include dimensions, stitching, hardware, leather consistency, and branding placement. Inspection scope is defined in the project agreement.

What we do not claim

Veltan Supply does not hold quality certifications on its own behalf, and we do not claim that a partner holds a specific certification unless we have seen the evidence. Any standard you require should be stated in your specification.

How the process works

  1. 01Approve the specification for sampling
  2. 02Partner produces the first sample
  3. 03Review against the specification and note changes
  4. 04Approve or request a revised sample
  5. 05Agree the pre-production approval
  6. 06Coordinate production checks and final inspection

Each step needs agreement before the next one begins. Production is not started until feasibility and commercial terms are confirmed.
